There’s a still-going issue about whether to use OEM cartridges or compatible printer ink cartridges. The cartridges that usually come with and share the same brand as your printer. They are costly. Naturally, manufacturers claim OEM brings you better printouts and will not cause any malfunction in your printer. Compatible ink cartridges are mostly refilled and generic ones. But these are much more affordable than their OEM counterparts. Which of these is better to use? Can the public rely on the printing quality of non OEM cartridges? One study shows that compatible printer ink cartridges can print more pages compared to their branded counterparts, and at much less the branded cartridge’s cost.
