First Rate All The Way – Olympus Underwater Digital Camera Review

The down load of photos and movies was difficult and would not mate with the PC documents files. The battery time was OK and the photos were good.

So now I ended up spending a lot of money on a broken camera. I’m hoping Olympus will fix it and that I just got a bad apple. It was a great buy! It’s really fun to use around water, like waterparks, the pool and amusement parks. I like it very much and got this one as a gift for my fiance. We use them for video half the time.

In that respect, it worked very well. The thing that I hated the most was how slow it was. Eventually after 18 months, it stopped working altogether. So I sent it to the New York Olympus center.

This is my fourth digital camera, having Sony and Cannon before buying this one. The camera is definitely durable many functions and options but poor picture quality.

I was a little nervous at first about dunking it in water but it worked great for underwater pictures and video. I need an extra battery and I bought a 16 GB SD card which gave me over 4000 pictures or over 5 hours of video. No problems with hooking it up to the computer. Just plug it in and there it is. And in my experience salt water leaves a film on the lens so always wash in clean fresh water after any underwater activity. The on-board software glitches when I tried to load it onto my computer, but I haven’t really tried to fix it yet. It is water and impact resistant 3. Picture quality is awesome 2. This unit has all the features we need and is tough enough for this type of use. I’ve had this camera for just over a year and taken it all over the world multiple times. The camera leaked. I added a 16gig memory card for the video recording aspect and I love it. I can record 5 hours and 50 minutes of 720p on the thing which is way nicer than the Flip that I was looking at.

Every day it was in my cargo pocket ready for action no matter the environment, sand storms, cold, hot, dust, and it received its fair share of dents and scratches along the way. home glass repair.
