Gout is an extremely painful disease. Acute gout can be so painful that even a sheet over the affected area can cause excruciating pain. Treatment can relieve pain and shorten the duration of symptoms. The symptoms of acute gout will subside without treatment but will return. On subsequent attacks, the same joint might be affected or a different joint might be affected. Treatment for gout may involve one or more types of treatment. If treatment is started soon after the onset of symptoms, relief from an acute attack of gout may be obtained within 24 hours of starting treatment.

There is no cure for acute gouty arthritis at the present time. The disease can be treated and symptoms can be relieved. Treatment for an acute case of gout includes relieving pain and inflammation. Further attacks can be prevented. The treatment for gout usually includes medications of various kinds or maintained through dietary changes. The medications used to treat gout are prescribed based on the patient’s health and personal preferences. Medications used to treat gout include the following: nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), colchicines, and steroids.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may be used by some gout sufferers to relieve pain and inflammation. NSAIDS used in the treatment of gout may include over-the-counter drugs and/or prescription drugs. Over-the-counter anti-steroidal drugs include ibuprofen and naproxen. Although acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, it should not be taken by individuals with gout. Acetylsalicylic acid can aggravate gout by increasing levels of uric acid in the blood. Prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are stronger and may be used in some cases. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may cause stomach pain, stomach bleeding, and ulcers. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed to a patient at the highest possible safe dose at the beginning of treatment. These drugs are then taken until the symptoms subside and for 3 or 4 days after the symptoms have resolved.

Colchicine may be used to treat gout. Colchicine is a naturally occurring substance that is extracted from a number of species of plant. The drug reduces the inflammation caused by acute gouty arthritis. The exact mechanism of by which colchicine reduces inflammation is not fully understood. It is thought that the drug reduces the deposition of uric acid in the joints. Although colchicine is not a pain killer (analgesic), the drug reduces the pain caused by acute gouty arthritis. Colchicine is toxic if too high a dose is taken. Nausea, cramping, vomiting, and diarrhea is typical side effect from colchicine. Much more serious side effect include muscle inflammation and bone marrow problems. The FDA approved colchicine in September 1977.

Steroids are often used to treat gout. An injection of corticosteroids may be used to stop an acute attack of gout. Steroid medications can control the inflammation and pain associated with gout. When used to treat gout, steroids may be administered orally (in the form of pills) or by injection. Steroids are often used as a treatment for acute gout when nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications are contraindicated. Steroids may also be used as a first-line treatment for acute gout, but are usually reserved for patients who cannot take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Gout pain can be maintained through dietary changes. Understanding this area can be complex because for so long learning different things about focusing of certain types of foods that spark an attack became of interest. Food as important as it is to the body the actual purines in the food become integral as this only contributes to around 30% of the uric acid production. The body balances itself as it filters out toxins, and keeps essential nutrients and it adds to much strain and its ability to test.

The herbs in this innovative gout therapy formula not only aid to keep the uric acid in the body soluble, but also support the areas needed to be at their best in order to filter and expel those soluble levels and other waste products as well.

Learn more about the quality of this gout therapy formula and the all natural herbal blend compiled of organically grown, pharmaceutical grade ingredients. The combination of their work within the body set out to produce the results you have been looking for. The quality and production of an ingredient directly effects whether or not it will work in the human body! This is where a high standard of bioenhanced technology becomes such an important factor in the success of what can be offered to you.
