Twitter and its SEO Potential

Easy AdSense by Unreal

Many are aware of how vital social media is in SEO and your ranking in Google. But while Facebook and Google + are unquestionably useful, Twitter is often seen as not as influential for SEO, as short tweets and constantly updating timelines cause companies to feel that it’s not worth getting involved. However, there are ways to have Twitter not only work for you, but produce amazing results.

Making lists relevant to your brand is a great way to start. Let’s say that you own a company that makes paint ball guns. On Twitter, you can make a list of the most talented paint ball players, fields to play on, tournaments, etc.. Find out if they have Twitter accounts and link them to the list, building a relationship with them. Using this method, you are setting up people who will RT and link back to your list, bringing traffic to your Twitter and website. Also, you can create your own list, blog or article on another websiteand post it to Twitter, generating the same results as long as you get in touch with the people involved.

You can even promote events through Twitter. If you’re looking to have a charity event or a fundraiser, post links to where people can donate and find out more about your cause. If you’re holding conferences, workshops or special events, Twitter is very effective for spreading the word. It’s easy to get publicity out there for your brand, as long as you have an active account and are willing to put the work in.

Another way to use Twitter is to support someone’s account. If they are within the same field as you or think that they’d be interested in your brand, write something nice about them in a blog or article and submit the link. If they tweet something of importance, RT the post and send them a message. They’ll beflattered and it’s a great way to start up a potential useful relationship.

The point to Twitter, as with any social media, is connections, connections, connections! It is possible to build relationships through tweets and messages, so long as you keep up your end of the bargain. If they appeal for help or ask a question on Twitter, see if you can’t give an answer or help them out in some way. Comment on the things that they post. By establishing this relationship, you’re one step nearer to getting them to RT your links and recommend your productto their followers, resulting in effective SEO and a higher ranking in those all-so-important Google searches.

Blending SEO and social media is a great way to promote your website. Twitter is one popular site to use to help rank better in google. To find out even more about what SEO and social media can do for you, check out fishbat today!. Unique version for reprint here: Twitter and its SEO Potential.
